our core values
Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another.
testimony is how we overcome! being honest with ourselves and each other and providing accountability for one another, in a loving way, is part of how we mature in our walk with christ.
Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.
it is the responsibility of the church to help the poor and those in need. generosity makes it possible to demonstrate christ-like compassion by meeting needs for many in our community and around the globe.
My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.
passion for god, his word, his people, and what he is doing right now is the fuel we run on! sometimes we need to nurture that passion and some times we need to stir it up inside us. through our love and pursuit of jesus and all he has for us, we can change the world!
And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons.
the supernatural is biblical and very real. the Holy spirit imbibes us with the ability to do all that jesus did... and more. the spiritual is able to supersede the physical, and the implications of that fact have no limit.
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men
everything in the life of a believer should reflect jesus, and he deserves our best. excellence is not some lofty unattainable standard, it is inside each of us and can best be drawn out of us when we are in relationship with our creator.
1 Corinthians 1:10
I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.
we are all essential parts of the body of christ. each of us was created and formed with purpose for this specific time to accomplish what god wants to do. the hinderance we so often face is division in many different forms. it is up to each of us to set aside differences and love like jesus.
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
God is the same yesterday, tomorrow, and forever. he hasn't stopped doing miracles. god has not retired! he is constantly speaking to us and wanting to do new things both in us and through us. we have to learn to listen and discern god's voice in our lives for ourselves to be effective in what he is calling us to do.
